Blank...

my mind has got blank... For last couple of hrs or so, i am trying to write something but there is not a single thought I can key down in words as such. It's not surprising I guess... considering my own problem on lack of concentration. I find it hard to concentrate... A thought comes in my mind for a second or so and then flies away. Next moment even if I try to recall it, most of the time I fail to do so. Now, I am thinking of if it happens only with me or are you guys (mainly in IT field) do also have a similar kind of issue. Any comment???

Recently, I came across a news about a major IT firm shutting down it's operation from New Delhi, that too by giving the employees either to move down to it's Mumbai/Chennai centers or get another job. One of my friend told me that even the notice period is too short... probably a notice period of less than 30 days. This IT firm employs more than 1000 employees at it's Delhi center. This is a bizarre situation since most of the guys would not have wanted to leave Delhi region and given the notice period of less than 30 days - they must be going through critical phase of their career. One of my friend in that company is pregnent and would not move down to another location for sure... it means she would be jobless - atleast for quite a few important months. Many other guys would also have less or more reasons not to move down to another location - means would be in a jobless land.

This is not a hot topic among my colleagues, neither the N-Deal is not a hot topic among us. Even the left who bring the vote of trust against the UPA government on the basis of N-Deal has forgotten it. Nuclear Deal is nowhere in the picture among the political parties... now there is only one interest among all our "leaders" - it's purely political. RLD's Ajeet Sing has been honest enough to accept this fact. I don't know if a common citizen of India knows whats there in the Nuclear Deal... at least I don't know much about it. I don't know what exactly it contains... I don't think if any news paper or news channel has covered it well enough to give a good idea about. And I am sure, even 75% of the MPs, who would caste their votes for/against the trust vote, would be knowing it. I was watching a BJP-MP's interview in a new channel, where he was answering the N-Deal questions... He had a single answer to all the question, this deal will make us US dependent. Dear Mr. MP, have you got a chance to study the deal? Ok, leave this apart, few of Bahubali Netas who were serving upto life-term, got released from jail to cast their vote. See, who will be deciding our country's future.

Seems, not only my mind is blank...

from FakeGaurav to MyDaysWihMyself...

Cool!!! Fake Gaurav came to my seat and asked me to visit mydayzwithmyself... one of his favorite blogs. Before I could do a shift+click on the link, he already has started pouring some genuine words of praise about the blogger and his humorous work... by the time it opened up he had said that I'll find it more interesting than his... then he left. He actually had to go for an interaction with the HR manager of a company.

Yes, I started reading the blog and wow, now I am amused to have found another interesting material in this mayajaal. Actually, I was in desperate need of this (thanks Gaurav). I had enough of timeofindia.com, ndtv.com, orkut.com, alaana-and-falaana.coms (most of the time) and at times oracle-peoplesoft.com... After all, similar kinda stuff again and again is too boring to make me stay for 8-9 long hours in the office. I do not come to the office at 8:30 to read the similar news and hi-how-are-you craps. And see the crap, my manager has just forwarded me another mail to look into an error to resolve... why can't he himself look into the error? I'll look into it...after all, this is what I do come office for!!! Thank God I've realised it.

So, I'll take a break now and will resume once I resolve the issue.

Huhhhhh, back in just 5 minutes. Not I've not resolved the issue, I've just sent a resolution and also have asked for some more information of the error. I might get some time before I see a reply in my outlook.

Well, I went through a surgery last weekend... Septoplasty what it is called in medical terms. Septoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct the shape of the septum of the nose. The goal of this procedure is to correct defects or deformities of the septum. The nasal septum is the separation between the two nostrils. definition copy and pasted from here. I had this problem for quite a long time and I was aware of the surgical need... though I was avoiding to visit the doctors, this time my wife didn't let me escape with any excuses and took me to the doctor and got the surgery time fixed. This is a minor surgery in general and I had to get hospitalized for two days and after I got discharged my hospital bill was 33,500/= Thank God I was covered by group mediclaim policy by my employeer and I had to bear only 179/= rupees for the surgery.

I again received a mail from my manager... it seems quite a lot is happening in the project... I must concentrate.

Gaurav, Thanks for the blog you made me visit... It's quite an interesting one. I've got a good collection of blog to visit while in the office now. but guys, I want you guys to post more frequently... think of me yaar.

Chill...

After long hrs...

I am surprised! yup, I am... and the reason -> I am writing a non-technical blog... huhhhhh. And I would love to tell you at the very first place about my writing capabilities...

I started writing (poetry) at the age of 10-11 yrs... and left the habit after 10-11 yrs of writing when I accepted the fact that nobody in this planet can understand what the crap I am writing all about. I was the sole reader of my poems and my Ghazals - not surprisingly. I was nick named as Galib during my MCA days, but it had hardly anything to do with my writing skills... rather I was nick named as Galib since I introduced a new slang/word "Galib" for any non-understandable poem, ghazal, sher-o-shayari or any kinda stuff that is beyond my level of understanding. ---- (flashback)

Btw, after all this reliazation stuff abt my writing skills, I stopped writing! A Full Stop.

Suddenly after all these years, my writing aspirations got alive once again... And my inspirations are: http://fakegaurav.blogspot.com/ and http://neerajmathpal.blogspot.com/

Not because any "if they can, why can't I?" feelings at all... It's because, these two persons are my role models - and I simply want to follow them to fulfill my writing aspirations.

Have Fun!!!
